PORTFOLIO

As agreed, in addition to regular attendance and class participation, 10% of your final mark will be derived from a creative portfolio consisting of your own attempts at the following:

  • a sonnet;
  • a Pope-style poetic 'essay' or philosophical poem;
  • an ode;

(We shall add to the list as we proceed and as other relevant activities suggest themselves.)

Students should send me soft copies of their poems before the relevant class so that I may post them HERE for your fellow students to read and as a basis for tutorial discussion.
